Nathan Pruitt has always felt called to work with children. Long before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, he spent years serving youth at the Boys and Girls Club in Cleveland, an experience that shaped his passion for supporting kids both inside and outside the healthcare setting.
Today, as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at White’s Pediatrics in Dalton and Chatsworth, GA, he partners with families to provide thoughtful, comprehensive pediatric care. After graduating from Lee University, he worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Erlanger, caring for children during some of their most vulnerable moments.
Parents appreciate Nathan’s approachable style and steady communication. Whether guiding a newborn’s first checkup, managing a fever or ear infection, monitoring developmental milestones, or providing adolescent care, he focuses on listening carefully and explaining next steps clearly. His background in both acute and primary care helps him bring confidence and reassurance to every visit.
As a pediatric provider in Dalton and Chatsworth, Georgia, Nathan values building long-term relationships with families. He understands the concerns of parents—especially as a father himself. He and his wife, are raising their young son, alongside their two energetic dogs. His personal experience as a parent deepens his empathy and perspective when supporting other families.
Outside of the office, he enjoys hiking, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops, watching football and basketball, and spending time with his family.
