Helping children grow into healthy, confident adults is what inspires Dr. Joseph Point du Jour every day. Since 2015, he has cared for families throughout Dalton, Chatsworth, and Calhoun, GA as a board-certified pediatrician at White’s Pediatrics.
Dr. Point du Jour believes pediatric care is about more than checkups and prescriptions. It is about partnership. He works closely with parents to understand each child’s strengths, challenges, and developmental journey. Whether guiding a newborn through early milestones, managing common childhood illnesses, or supporting adolescents through emotional changes, he focuses on clear communication and steady support.
He has a special interest in caring for children with autism, developmental delays, ADHD, and mood disorders. Families navigating these challenges often need additional time, explanation, and coordinated care. Dr. Point du Jour approaches these situations with patience and structure, helping parents understand next steps and long-term strategies while ensuring children feel safe and understood.
Dr. Point du Jour earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed his pediatric residency at Jacobi Medical Center through the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During residency, he received multiple teaching awards, reflecting his ability to educate and connect, skills he now uses daily when guiding families through complex medical decisions.
Outside the office, Dr. Point du Jour enjoys traveling with his wife, Kimberly, and their son, Caleb. He is also deeply committed to mentoring young people and encouraging them to use their gifts to positively impact others.
