Pediatric Nurse Practitioner  |  White’s Pediatrics – Dalton, GA

Diana Miranda is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at White’s Pediatrics, where she provides compassionate, patient-centered care to children and families throughout Dalton, GA and surrounding communities. Originally from Dalton, Diana moved to Atlanta to continue her education and expand her pediatric clinical experience before returning home to serve the community that shaped her.

 

Her background includes pediatric urgent care, neonatal intensive care, and specialty pediatric services. Diana is passionate about helping families feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their child’s healthcare journey.

 

 

Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to improving access and communication for diverse families across the Dalton community. Diana earned her nursing degrees from Dalton State College and completed her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree at Georgia State University in December 2025.

 

Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, and remains deeply connected to the Dalton community she proudly calls home.

My review is biased, so know that up front. Dr. White was my Pediatrician back during the day before this facility was built. He is a very good man. I’m not even sure if he is still practicing or not. But I suppose you could say his care along with my parents saved my life a few times. I know medicine has changed SO MUCH over the past decade, but Dr. White’s legacy will always be special to me.

I have two children who visit this practice; one of which has special needs. I have not experienced the long waiting times that others have reported except at their urgent care after-hours clinic, but that is the nature of urgent care clinics. Dr. White in particular is a wonderful and knowledgeable doctor who is very upbeat and Dr. Pointe du Jour is very good with kids on the autism spectrum. I have no problems with this practice.

My recent visits have been better than in the past years. In my recent visits, I waited in the waiting room for only 40 minutes after arriving and I had to wait for a doctor for another 40 minutes. I spent nearly an hour in a half in the clinic. I remember long ago when I was a little boy that there have been times that I stood in the clinic for almost 4 hours. For my recent visits, the waiting has improved.

I love that there is no language barrier here. You can get a same day appointment here. Sorry some people have to wait. I know they care too.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! We are always in and out quickly, but if we have some extra questions, the ladies here take the time to answer them thoroughly without rushing you off. My little one and I love this office, and will continue to use this office as she grows older. A huge thank you to the staff for outstanding care 🫶🏻
